polyvinyl dichloride??? -- as opposed to PVC = polyvinyl chloride. (Note: I'm not a chemist -- I'm just aware that polyvinyl dichloride can be abbreviated either PVD or PVDC). |

| It probably does mean 'physical vapo(u)r deposition' (or possibly something else) here, as a) it makes more sense and b) what I know about the watch manufacturing industry, isn't worth knowing.... |
