Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:<Прокурор вынесла акт прокурорского реагирования о запрете проводить религиозную деятльность>

Можна перевести как "prosecutor's response". Кажется, что "prosecutor's protest" не подойдет, так как это запрет на решение гос. органа или органа гос. власти.
Помогите пожалуйста.

Тогда должны существовать и prosecutor('s) opinion, attorney general('s) opinion.

И, действительно, оба варианта хорошо гуглятся.

Исходная фраза мне кажется двусмысленной, соответственно, даю 2 разных варианта:
The Prosecutor has issued a prosecutor opinion on the current ban on religious activities.
The Attorney General has issued an attorney general opinion stating that religious activities are illegal.

Вышла на приемлемый вариант перевода исключительно логическим путем! Молодец-удалец!
