军队, 后勤	An operation in which a force out of contact moves away from the enemy. (UKR/NATO); An operation in which a force out of contact moves away from the enemy; Withdrawal operation conducted if the success of an operation is jeopardized for serious and unforseen external reasons. A withdrawal may then be decided. Its execution implies the following: a - keeping a « way out » permanently during the operation; b - planning joint actions specifically; c - preserving command and control capabilities; d - managing time limits to reach a compromise between speed and the unit security; An operation in which a force out of contact moves away from the enemy. A form of retrograde operations; a directed, rearward movement by a force that is not in contact with the enemy and does not anticipate significant contact with the enemy; Disengagement action consisting in repatriating the forces in their initial stationing places, after making a success of the operation and final endstate. The retirement is most of the time accompanied by the retention of a rapid action capability or the presence of observers.
