One distinguishes: 4. current intelligence, in order to determine, at a given point in time, the genuine characteristics of the physical environment and of the area infrastructure, bridges, local material resources, etc.; 4. forecasting intelligence, in order to assess the timelines and assets required to produce a given effect.
