Phase of the ship to shore movement in amphibious operations, in which the unloading is mainly of a logistic nature and which lays the emphasis on the speed and the scale of the unloading operations. It includes the off-loading of the units and cargoes on board the ships as quickly as allowed by the beach preparation. It continues according to the ground handling assets, without taking into account the class, the type or the priority of the cargo.
