Пожалуйста, помогите перевести. gravel stop

Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:
Нашел определение на англ.: (gravel stop, gravel strip, slag strip) A flange, usually of a metal strip, used to prevent gravel or loose surfacing from washing off a roof; may also provide a finished edge for built-up roofing.
В "Мультитране": "gravel strip - бортовая планка...; брусок..." Но у меня это явно более сложная система, планка (fascia) входит в нее.
Пока называю это условно "карнизный пояс"

С контекстом не так просто: у меня не технич. описание, а рекл. проспект. Основной "контекст" - это чертежи. Вот пара отрывков (edge = gravel stop edge):
