concrete coatability

В настоящее время перевожу материал по применению бетона в строительстве, очень часто встречается слово coating, с чем тоже, кстати, много путаницы, дело в том, что пока из контекста не понятно, что имеется ввиду - обмазочные материалы, или все-таки облицовка?
Вот сейчас увидел это concrete coatability, что это вообще, возможность покрытия бетона облицовочными (или обмазочными?) материалами?

Я думаю, что concrete coatability - это вообще возможность нанесения на бетон какого-либо покрытия, в частности, покрытие бетона облицовочными материалами, окраска бетона и т.п.
