Please-что может значить bowls в центробежных насосах? Контекста особого нет-встречается в следующем случае:
...Сomponents that are fabricated by welding shall be post-weld-heat treated, if required, so that both the welds and the heat-affected zones meet the yield strength and hardness requirements.

As a minimum, the requirements of 5.12.1.12 (пункт ктр был до этого) apply to the following components:
the pressure casing
shafting (included wetted shaft nuts)
pressure-retaining mechanical seal components (excluding seal faces)
wetted bolting
bowls (!?)

Возможно, это лопасти (колеса, или как там эта деталь называется, не помню точно - не исключено, что Вы это уже выяснили)?

Увы нет-катастрофа!! Если у Вас есть иные соображения, пожалуйста помогите..Не могу представить к чему здесь bowls- не чашечки же это какие-нибудь...

The outer diameter contours of the impeller vanes match (that is, they are supposed to match) those of the bowl so that the tips of the impeller vanes are always parallel to the surface of the bowl. The parallel gap between the impeller vanes and the bowl, that is, the clearance, significantly influences the efficiency of the pump.
