| И вот, уже не впервые, машину повело по снежной каше, но вырулить водителю не удалось, хотя он честно соблюдал скоростной лимит -90 километров в час. |

имхо: And it was not the first time/there had been repeated occasions before when the car got caught skidding over the slushy mess but the driver failed to block the skid and get it back on track even though he was/ had been observing doing a fair job of observing the 90 km per hour speed limit. |

покороче:) although still within the speed limit of 90 kmph, the driver once again found himself overcome by skidding in slush but failed to regain control...( and ended up...) |
