Subject: bare plurals ling.
Пожалуйста, помогите перевести.

Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:

...And perhaps the oddest feature of your language is the fact that you have nouns without any determiners, the so-called BARE PLURALS, which have no fixed interpretation. For example, the BARE PLURAL humans can be interpreted as referring to all (or almost all) humans, as in Humans are intelligent/tall/evil. Alternatively it can refer only to some humans, as in Humans are in this room/bombing Geern/eating breakfast. The first sentence talks about all (or almost all) humans, and the predicate indicates a property that is permanent: a person's intelligence, height, or evil nature doesn't change from time to time. In contrast, the second sentence says something about some humans: some of them are in this room, bombing Geern, or having breakfast. And, in this case, the predicate indicates a property that is temporary, and is expected to change: you are in this room now, but may leave later; you are bombing Geern now, but you will stop (after it's flattened to the ground, damn you!); you are eating breakfast now, but will finish at some point...
