Главное не то, что рекламируют, а что вся реклама построена на сленге и на том, что известно именно американцам, либо людям, живущим в их среде. Наподобие того, что все русские знают, откуда взялось "Невиноватая я! Он сам пришел".

Да нет там сленга. Имена спортсменов, активно рекламирующих продукты с уклоном в здоровый/спортивный образ жизни. Ваша реклама - от противного. Вы бы весь текст привести не поленились - он в сети есть. ***usage may result in increased stamina (no, not in that way). Так вот навскидку что-то типа - Наш напиток может повысить вашу работоспособность (а не то, что вы подумали). Обращаем ваше внимание, что никакие спортивные знаменитости его не рекламируют, так что даже если вы и выпьете его очень много, то у вас все равно не возникнет желания стать знаменитым спортсменом//одним из них

Сверяйте:

"mike, magic" - Mike, Magic and Larry (NBA - Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird) - известные баскетболисты.

"or even athletes named ned" - another onetime athlete named Ned Dowd - киногерой, игравший атлета.
