Не подскажите, нужни ли в следующем предложении запятые перед и после "thereby"?

you cannot kill the commas - it's english grammar and just b/c you a foreign does not mean you dont need to use it

you can use my or kintorov's version
kintorov's is the most correct in grammatical terms (very much a stickler i would say)
mine is more what you see in modern texts and is considered "acceptable"

Только сейчас заметил. Может "in such systems" лутше вынести вперёд?

In such systems many processes can be parametrized and, thereby, described in a quantitative way.

Или оба варианта приемлемы?

Лучше In such/these systems ... or Many processes of such systems

In installations, engines, etc ....
