Применяются два вида оценок эффективности:
a)formative
b)summative

Кто-нибудь встречал b) ?

Что касается "summative", удалось найти "итоговую" и "обобщающую оценку". Первая относится к оценке знаний учащегося, вторая - оценка эффективности программы или проекта после его завершения. Вроде бы имеет смысл. Хотела добавить ссылку, но почему-то не получается. Можно посмотреть в Яндексе.

Language A will assess students both in a formative and summative manner. The former will take place throughout a unit of instruction and may take a variety of forms. The latter will take place at the end of a unit of instruction or at the end of the semester.
