Пожалуйста, помогите перевести. Речь идет об аварии на заводе, вызванной утечкой газа. Я не сильна в терминологии, а слова настолько многозначные, что пальцем в небо не попасть ))

Вот контекст:

As a result of a voltage dip, the lube oil pump serving the synthesis gas compressor tripped and the reserve pump started up. This in turn led to an abrupt change in the speed of the turbine, a sharp increase inibration in the compressor and the shut down of the machine. The vibration caused synthesis gas to be released into the space between the bearing and the packing, where it exploded. The sight glass on the lube oil line was
smashed and the gas escaped into the compressor house where it was ignited. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes by the isolation of the compressor, the venting the synthesis gas to flare, the activation of the foam system and the efforts of the fire brigade.
