Пожалуйста, помогите перевести layday (день просрочки) of lifting.

Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:
The Claimant's obligation to open the letter of credit at latest 15 days prior to the first layday of any given lifting was subject to compliance by the Respondent with the obligations set out in (b) above.

lifting может быть отгрузкой чего-либо, нефти, к примеру, хотя это не понимаю как соотносится с "истцом" и "ответчиком"...:(
