В настоящее время создана и запатентована технология по увеличению выхода светлых фракций при первичной ректификации нефти с использованием метода Обменных Резонансных Взаимодействий (ОРВ-метод), который позволяет не изменяя существующие технологические процессы и оборудование увеличить отбор светлых фракций из нефти при соответствующем уменьшении количества мазута, без ухудшения его технологических параметров.
В основе данной технологии лежат следующие представления. Молекулы жидких и газообразных веществ находятся в непрерывном поступательном, вращательном и колебательном движении. При этом они излучают некий спектр частот слабых электромагнитных волн, зависящий как от свойств самой системы, в которую эти молекулы входят, так и от внешних условий, например, температуры и давления.
