помогите редактурой, рус-англ, размышление на тему "у природы нет плохой погоды"

Всем добрый день!
Пожалуйста, не откажите в помощи....со стилем, по моему, у меня не очень :(...
особенно хотелось бы услышать Mo (бывшую little Mo), но всем другим форумчанам буду тоже рада и очень благодарна за помощь!

"Зима не сдается"

Сегодня ночью, в завершение Федотова дня, повалил обильный мокрый снег. Как бы не сбылась
соответствующая народная примета о затяжной и холодной весне с заморозками (см. раздел «Народные приметы», Федотов день).
За ночь местами выпало до 40-50мм снега, который при плюсовой температуре быстро превращался в
жидкую грязную кашу под ногами спешащих с утра на работу людей.
А как уже хочется солнца, тепла, зеленой травки, как надоел холод и сырость ...
Но весна всегда рождается в слякоти и грязи, такова природа.

A heavy fall of wet snow began at nighttime, at the end of Fedot’s day. Those who believe in weatherlore are afraid this may forecast a long and cold spring, accompanied by frosts (see the section “Weatherlore” for Fedot’s day). In some places up to 40-50 mm of snow has fallen for the night, and dew to above zero temperature it soon turned into muddy slush under people’s feet, hurrying to their work in the morning.
We are all longing for spring warmth, shining sun and green grass on lawns. Just sick and tired of such a dirty, wet weather and cold…But nothing doing, spring always begins this way – with thawing snow and slush in the streets
