Subject: off: i need part-time work here is the deal:in march i go on maternity leave from work (dikretni otpysk) and i am going to need some part-time editing or translating to keep the money coming in a bit. anyone able to offer anything? |

1) Congratulations!!! 2) RIA Novosti use to employ native speakers. I don't know how they pay now, I think you could phone them and ask. 3) I would say that USD 4 for editing is not bad. :-( People are usually greedy (or stupid or both), most of them (employers) think that editing is the easiest thing here. :-((( |
I did my first translation a few days after the child was born and am still translating a lot at home (the baby is 1 year and 4 months old now). Unfortunately, when she started to walk on her own, she learnt to switch the PC on and off and put in DVDs with her favourite movies. Good luck! |
