Its stock has consistently sold at a multiple of 3 times revenues. Management of XXX believes that the stock price is fairly representative of the fair value of VVV and accordingly that using the multiple in assessing the value of VVV will result in a fair estimate.

это не P/E, а P/S (sales/revenues)

сравни у Лукойла:
2004 P/E - 10,91
2005 P/E - 8,26

revenues - выручка (валовая прибыль)(S)
точно не EPS :-)
а причем тут EPS?
