Subject: Тонкости перевода диагнозов Здравствуйте, часто встречаю в диагнозах название болезни, после которой стоит вопросительный знак, ну например: "пиелонефрит?"Как бы это правильней передать при переводе на английский? Может, вопросительный знак все же заменить конструкцией типа possible pyelonephritis, а вопросительный знак убрать? Спасибо всем заранее

Еще из этого же диагноза: хроническая болезнь почек (Д+) - вот это вот самое "Д+"?

Кстати, если хотите оставить вопросительный знак, то можете. Только в английском его ставят перед диагнозом, а не после. "? pneumonia", что означает questionable pneumonia. A question mark placed before a medical diagnosis signifies uncertainty or doubt about the diagnosis, indicating that it is a possible diagnosis but not yet definitively confirmed; essentially, it means "could this be" the diagnosis, often used in medical notes to convey a need for further investigation. |
