Подскажите, как переводится на русский технология нанесения покрытия "spot coating"?
Не уверен, что буквальный перевод будет верным.
Словосочетание взято из коммерческого предложения на следующее оборудование:

скорее всего выборочное нанесение покрытия (в полиграфии используется spot varnishing - выборочное лакирование)
