Subject: Have my area wired gen.
Друзья, help!
Mожет, кто встречал где, может, какие-нибудь соображения есть по поводу перевода фразы "I have my area wired"
Контекст: If you’ve suddenly discovered a new way to do a task or job better, don’t say “I feel like I have my area wired”, say, “Just when I thought I had my area wired, I learned a whole new way to approach [a task] that I can now apply to how I do a lot of things. What a great lesson!”

Есть ощущение, что это какой-то фразеологический оборот, но это всего лишь ощущение.

Заранее спасибо всем :)

I'm British but I've never heard of it. The text is in US rather than UK English (US=learned, UK=learnt), so it could be an Americanism.

As the article is about getting promotion at work, it probably means something like 'I feel that I've mastered my current job' or 'I feel that I've mastered managing the area I'm currently responsible for'.

never heard it quite like this (in the US), but its meaning is more-or-less clear in the bigger context:

Resist the urge to talk about what you know or brag about how easy everything is for you. Instead, share what you’re learning, and be vulnerable and honest about it. If you’ve suddenly discovered a new way to do a task or job better, don’t say “I feel like I have my area wired”, say, “Just when I thought I had my area wired, I learned a whole new way to approach [a task] that I can now apply to how I do a lot of things. What a great lesson!”

so i am getting
"I have my area wired" approx.= "everything in my area is under control and super awesome"

PS. "I've mastered my current job" sounds just as good.
