Subject: Doctors equipped with turnbuckles gen. Коллеги!Помогите, пожалуйста, начинающему. Выслали тестовое задание - фрагмент из инструкции к какому-то оборудованию. Компания занимается оборудованием для производства картона, бумаги и целлюлозы, а также химическими технологиями. Если бы знать хоть какое это оборудование, то Гугл мне в помощь, чтобы схемы найти или инструкции, а так, кто такие эти Doctors equipped with turnbuckles в данном контексте? Контекст такой: Pre-alignment (i) With the tubes equalized and a new blade installed, make sure that only one turnbuckle is connected. (ii) Maneuver the bearing on either side of the machine in order to get blade contact across the face of the roll. (iii) Once you have continuous contact, adjust the connected turnbuckle to lift the blade off of the roll. The blade should lift off of the roll at the same time all the way across the face. If it does not, readjust either bearing and try again. You should continue to adjust the turnbuckle to raise the blade off of and onto the roll until it lifts off at the same time and makes contact at the same time across the face of the roll. |

PS: It's written in US English: * equalized (US) = equalised (UK) so 'doctor' as used here could be an Americanism. |

Насколько я понимаю, "доктор" - широко распространенный жаргон. Был дуктор, стал доктор :-) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_blade Такие ножи применяется для удаления избытка краски в глубокой печати, а также при производстве бумаги и пластиков для регулирования толщины производимого листа. |
