Лингвисты, друзья! Помогите с переводом слова "ext" применительно к весу.
У меня в пакинге есть вес брутто, нетто и вес ext. Что это может быть?

Дальше идет вопрос: Extend weight & Cube? - Нет.

Данные из пакинг-листа:
Вес брутто = 20 кг
Вес нетто = 18 кг
Вес упаковки = 2 кг
Вес ext = 20 кг

Я сначала думала, может быть "добавочный", но что за добавочный вес может быть? Всю голову сломала. Не хочется у американцев спрашивать, позориться...

Extended Weight and/or Over Length Permit (Codes U, W, X, Y or Z 13):
Authorizes operations to exceed the maximum legal weight of 80,000 pounds up to a maximum of 105,500 pounds providing the combination has the proper axles and spacing to haul the weight. Axle weights must be legal. Bridge weights must conform to either Permit Weight Table 1 or 2. This permit is also issued for certain type of combinations to exceed legal length.
Power units must be equipped with a tandem drive axle; except:
Power units of doubles placed into service prior to April 1, 1983, may have a single drive axles and operate over 80,000 pounds.
Power units of any combination not exceeding 80,000 pounds when the permit is issued for length only.
Splash and spray devices are required on combinations exceeding 80,000 pounds when operating on highways that are wet, including those surfaces that have rain, frost, ice, sleet or snow.
