If a Notice of Disagreement in accordance with clause 4.3 has been delivered, the Parties shall, during the thirty-day period following such delivery (or any other period of time mutually agreed upon between the Parties), use reasonable efforts to reach an agreement on the disputed items or amounts. If and to the extent that, during such period, the Parties are unable to reach an agreement, on request of either Party the remaining differences shall be resolved by [●] (the Accounting Firm), acting as an expert in accordance with the rules of the International Centre for ADR at the Paris secretariat of the International Chamber of Commerce (the International Centre for ADR).

алекс, это однозначно alternative dispute resolution - причем прежде всего имеется в виду медиация (она же "примирение")
это все есть в материалах парижской ICC
посмотрите, они прекрасно переведены на русский и изданы одним пакетом - устав и арбитражный регламент ICA of the ICC, типичные тексты арбитражных оговорок и все подобное

там же найдете и аутентичный перевод court of competent/relevant jurisdiction как "компетентный суд" ( НЕ суд юрисдикции), и арбитражный регламент (rules of arbitration - НЕ правила арбитража) и все прочее, постоянно вызывающее у переводчиков затыки

относиться к этому, как и ко всему по жизни, имеет смысл спокойно

единого или, как говорил один бывший президент, отлитого в граните, определения нет (один юрист скажет вам одно, другой - другое), но alternative включает в себя amicable

при всем том, оба варианта характеризуются "мирностью" в том смысле, что не предполагают рубки в суде
