Use of the Model to Predict Other Process Parameters

Apart from calculating the reformate composition, temperature, and pressure profiles along the reactors system, the model developed can be used to analyze other aspects of the catalytic reforming process. Turpin (1992) proposed a procedure to validate the performance of a catalytic reforming unit. This procedure considers the calculation of the global and hydrogen material balances,a comparison of experimental and calculated feed and product densities, an analysis of the gas composition (calculation of some quotients, isobutene/n-butane molar ratio), probability plots of feed and reformate components, and RING BALANCE. All this information and more can be generated with the kinetic and reactor models developed.

Ring balance manometer - кольцевой или дифференциальный манометр, прибор для измерения перепада давления. Применяется также для измерений уровня жидкостей и расхода жидкости, пара или газа по методу перепада давлений.

Не факт. Такое ощущение, что речь идет больше о химии, нежели о физике (analysis of the gas composition (calculation of some quotients, isobutene/n-butane molar ratio), probability plots of feed and reformate components, and RING BALANCE).

Варианта пока нет, но с перепадом давления я бы не торопился.
