Subject: tips gen. Thank you for sending along your example articles. Obviously we are an English language publication so would require any stories to be submitted in English.In addition to publishing one- or two-page feature news on a monthly basis, we also publish half-page news stories. These shorter news pieces can be linked to articles published in other journals (please send the full reference and abstract). These half page stories also can cover policy decisions in different countries or any sort of big oncology story that is occurring. We will add you to our list of reporters to which we send out a weekly call for tips. If you have an oncology story which you think will be of interest to us please respond to this call for tips. We commission half page stories based off of the tips that reporters send us. These stories tend to have a very short turn-over time. We will commission a news story on Monday, the story will be due in on Wednesday and edited the same day and passed for publishing on Wednesday as well. The story will then be published on Friday. However if you have a longer one or two page feature in mind, you can also pitch these to us, and they will tend to have a slightly longer time scale. We recently did a one-page feature on tobacco control in Russia.
