The workpiece 4 is in the form of a compacted sintered component. The working direction 22 runs substantially in the radial direction 18 of the workpiece 4. The shaped relief 20 is formed non—complementarily in relation to the inner surface 21 to be formed. In order to form the inner surface 21, the forming element 3 is moved by means of the drive element 19 and the transfer element 2 in the direction of its radially greatest extent (figure 1). |
