Как правильно назвать данные виды соединения полиэтиленовых труб, в основном интересует разница между butt fusion и butt welding

И все же, скажите, как правильно их перевести, а то и там и там плавление, и там и там в стык. Вобщем запуталась.

То есть, насколько я правильно поняла, Butt fusion и electric fusion - разновидность сварки, хоть слово welding и опускается.
Electric fusion - сварка электроплавлением?
