sense of belonging to the organisation ___ Not very idiomatic I have to say. |
Yeah, I don't really like the omission of the indefinite article in that English text. Here's one from a website run out of New Zealand: Great team environment and capable staff http://www.nrc.govt.nz/Your-Council/Work-for-us/Working--NRC/ |
each ... member feeling like an integral part of the team/organisaion |
I beg you not 'member' pls |
Why not? team members- everywhere Employees cannot feel themselves like belonging to any organisation |
Yet another one - this time written by a Rachel Allen (UK): Jonathan Wild has succeeded in creating a committed workforce at Betty and Taylors by following the principles outlined in Martin & Nicholls 1987 'Model of Commitment'. Based on their research in 14 British companies, Martin and Nicholls identified three major pillars of commitment: 1. A sense of belonging to the organisation. The workforce felt they were involved, informed, and shared in the organisation's success. This sense of belonging avoided the 'them and us' culture prevalent in some organisations. 2. A sense of excitement in the job. The workforce was proud of what they were achieving, trusted by management, and accountable for results thus creating an excitement that was motivating. 3. Confidence in management. Management had authority, dedication, and competence and thereby created a climate in which c o m m i t m e n t flourished. |
