столкнулась с таким- вначале в тексте писалось, что не имеется контакт между цилиндром и зажимами, а в формуле изобретения- есть контакт. пожалуйста, может кто глянет чертежи, там ведь есть контакт. не правильно что ли в тексте? Спасибо.(Method and device for measuring cylinders )

This device, in the presence of small differences or micro-differences between the distance of the contact points between the clamps and the theoretical axis of the cylinder itself, behaves as follows:
a) If the upper contact point moves towards the centre: the upper arm descends due to the force of gravity and the tension of the wire compresses the spring 38 by an amount equal to the shift considered. Аппарат способен компенсировать такой вид смещения до обнуления предварительной нагрузки пружины, после этого контакта/соприкосновения нижнего кулачка с цилинлром нет.

и все-таки непонятно в описании 13, 14 и 15- там thus always guaranteeing contact of the two clamps (13, 14) with the cylinder (11)- есть контакт, а в формуле ізобретения а) b) c) -from this point on there is no contact between the lower clamp and the cylinder- нет контакта
или что-то я тут не понимаю.

Я - тоже. Но патент есть патент. Я бы не вольничал, даже при очевидной нелогичности текста.

Подробно, простите, прведённого Вами контекста не читал. Возможно, речь идёт о коррекции точки контакта или каких-то других технических тонкостях.

Вообще этот механизм должен фиксироваться на или в цилиндре, а после ввода в действие измерительных датчиков (или чего-то там), фиксация может "сниматься" во избежание искажения показаний.

Но это - мои домыслы и вымыслы.
