Добрый день.
Какой предлог (by, with, или вообще другой) лучше использовать в фразе: "the shield fell down BY (WITH) on side on + and BY (WITH) other side to the pipe". Щиток упал одной стороной на плюсовой провод а другой стороной на трубку.

Можно и без предлогов With-By.
Примерно: the positive wire contacted one side of the shield dropped while the other side of the shield did the tube.
