When liquid oxygen level reaches to～1000mm，start to regulate purity. Purity regulating starts from lower column and then upper column. The control way is to turn down liquid air and liquid nitrogen throttle valves, regulating oxygen and waste nitrogen valve. Liquid air level （100～200mm）is controlled by liquid air throttle valve. The openness of liquid nitrogen throttle valve decides the distribution of backflow liquid nitrogen and directly affects the purity of liquid nitrogen and liquid air. Under the precondition of meeting demand of liquid nitrogen purity, open liquid nitrogen throttle valve larger as soon as possible. The speed of purity regulation depends on the lift and recovery of liquid level. It needs analysis purity of liquid air, liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen during purity regulation. ***Waste nitrogen flow should be larger than normal flow, but oxygen discharge flow is opposite.

Все-таки flow - это расход (объем в единицу времени), а скорость - это расход, умноженный на сечение трубопровода.
