phase U, phase V and W

Из описания принципа работы источника питания для сварочного агрегата. Речь идет о переменном токе (?) Как эти фазы-то называются? :( In the case of phase U is absent only and phase V and W gets into the control circuit, welding cannot be processed as the current wave keeps discontinuously even though the power source is still outputting current. When any phase of V and W is absent, the power source will run self-protection and makes welding impossible.
