Surge occurs when the forward flow of gas falls causing low impeller exit velocity which reduces the value of the flow angle. At a low flow angle the diffuser flow path becomes longer so that the friction losses overcome the pressure gained by diffusion and flow reversal occurs causing surge. Спасибо! |
