Subject: good solubility: >100 mg/At metal....
good solubility: >100 mg/At metal in aromatics, hydrocarbons, ethers, alcohols, ketones and water. Не могу понять, что такое mg/At .
Контекст перед фразой:
Hydrosols via “Reductive Stabilisation” and subsequent “Modification”
The active Al-C bonds have been used for a controlled protonolysis by long-chain
alcohols or organic acids (“modifiers”) to give Al-alkoxide groups in the stabilizer.
This “modification” of the organoaluminum protecting shell can be used
to tailor the dispersion characteristics of the original organosols. A vast spectrum of
solubilities of the colloidal metals in hydrophilic media (including water) has been
achieved in this way. Inorganic surfaces bearing OH groups can react with the active
Al-C bonds in the colloidal protecting shell, opening new possibilities for the
preparation of heterogeneous catalysts. The modification process does not
substantially alter the particle size of the metal core.
Заранее спасибо за помощь.
