In the radio communication system, the DHCP protocol is used to automatically search for base receiver stations (BTSs) when the BTSs are powered on and to allocate initial configuration data such as IP addresses. The two scenarios are as follows:
1 - Initial site deployment - After the DHCP information is configured (synchronized) on the M2000, the DHCP process is triggered after a BTS is powered on.
2 - BTS reparenting - After the DHCP information is reconfigured (resynchronized) on the M2000, the DHCP process is triggered after the BTS is reparented and reset.
