clearances management & macaroons

Дошел вот до такой небольшой главы:

3.7.4. Link with computerized maintenance systems
One of the benefits of digitalization is to be able to merge process and maintenance and information.
For maintenance activities, an important coordination has to be managed between the operation team and the maintenance operators. This coordination consists especially in managing clearances. It is performed by a dedicated member of the operation team.
Today, with conventional technology, clearances management involve a specific database, printing sheets that have to be hanged on the equipments that have to be set in safe position and macaroons that have to be placed around the switches buttons, indicating to the operators that it is forbidden or impossible to operate an equipment.
With digital technologies, it is now feasible to establish a link between the clearances management system and the I&C system, in order to digitally inform the operator that an equipment is not available due to a clearance.

Не вполне понимаю, что в данном случае означает "clearances". Допуски? Зазоры?
Также в полный ступор ввело слово "macaroons". Поскольку во всех словарях ничего, кроме "миндального печенья" не наблюдается, то это либо какой-то жуткий сленг, о котором я ничего не знаю, либо опечатка. Возможно, кто-то подскажет хоть что-нибудь.

С надеждой смотрю на софорумчан для решения проблемы.

Слова явно разные. Там не "макароны", а "печенье" :) Да и зачем оставлять кинопленку возле кнопок?

А по поводу clearances никаких соображений?

Оказывается, clearance есть в глоссарии этого текста. Означает tag-out или padlock, т. е. переводить надо, видимо, как "блокировка".

Macaroon is a macro-based "action bar" addon. Up until Macaroon, even considering Trinity Bars, all bar addons were action ID based (at least "out-of-the-box" they were). Macaroon aims to expand beyond the limitations of the action ID system through maximum use of the macro-based button which was introduced in WoW 2.x.
Macaroon is designed to be many things to many users. It can stand on its own as a full-fledged bar addon. Or it can even run side-by-side with other bar addons. It can be an addon for keybinders or even clickers. The whole of the addon is designed to be as feature rich as a user may need, without needing to "fuss" with options one does not care about.
Macaroon is centered around the WoW macro. However, you do not need to know how to write a single WoW macro to use Macaroon! All buttons accept drag-n-drop spells from your spellbook and "feel/function" much like any other button in the default UI or other action bar addons. But if you do decided to expand into the world of macros, be prepared, for you are about to "Feel the power of the macro side..."

Большое спасибо! По крайней мере, хоть какое-то объяснение, что это может быть. Как переводить, пока не знаю.
А не знаете, как одним словом перевести "clearance", чтобы оно означало и "пломбу" (tag-out), и "висячий замок" (padlock)?

Все-таки непонятно с этим "макаруном". В указанном тексте речь идет об аддонах к компьютерным играм. А в моем тексте говорится о чем-то, что размещается рядом с выключателями. Возможно, действительно это имеет какое-то отношение к macro, но пока все еще смутно.

Решил переводить macaroons как "предупредительные знаки", поскольку это хотя бы подходит по смыслу.

Решил переводить "clearances" как "опечатывание". Вроде бы передает смысл и пломбы, и замка.
