как и было сказано, square mile - лондонский сити, a "pin-striped suit" - супер консервативный, официальный деловой костюм "в полосочку" (обычно серый) [помните у И.и Петрова про "пикейные жилеты"? (: ] - речь о "мальчиках в деловых костюмах", банкирах-финансистах, "застегнутых на все пуговицы". посмотрите wall street & money never sleeps - страна другая, но смысл понятен
