посмотрите пожалуйста перевод предложения с русского на английский. В частности меня интересует перевод деепричастия "проведя"

Проведя изыскательные работы касательно проведения государственной экспертизы проекта "XXX" мы пришли к следующим выводам

У меня получилось следующим образом
Having had survey works carried out regarding state expert review on XXX project we came to the following conclusion.

Почему-то меня смущает having had....

It does sound awkward. Hardly anyone does write or say it like that in actual life.
Option:
Having performed survey activities/after performing survey activities/based on the results of survey activities [we have performed] we have the following conclusions/findings with regard to the state expert review.
