You should probably check with them (on their website) to find out what they call themselves in English. If it is a passing reference of no factual importance to the text, you could probably get away with calling it Russian Artists Union or Russian Cultural Union. Or you can call it Russian Arts & Culture Workers' Union. A very literal translation would be Russian Artists Union of Arts & Culture Workers, but it sounds cumbersome and reduntant (to me, anyway). |
