| I realise this isn't exactly what you asked, but in my day (pre-internet) as Russian to English legal translator I found Barron's Law Dictionary to be an amazing tool. Other than that, I don't think there was any one great dictionary for law. I remember being armed with various Dictionaries of Accounting Terms, Legal Terms, etc. And having a good 'regular' dictionary was a must as well. My bible was (and still is)the Oxford Russian-English Dictionary, edited by Unbegaun (not so easy to find anymore). Finally, my firm had a huge databank of boilerplates, which helped (since I don't have any legal background). |
