Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести след. предложение (смущает слово isolation, ecли быть точнее):
The isolation of turkey rhinotracheitis (TRT) virus in birds suffering from the swollen head syndrome has made it necessary to control this disease

The isolation of turkey rhinotracheitis (TRT) virus in birds suffering from the swollen head syndrome has made it necessary to control this disease. TRT virus is a pneumovirus which mainly affects the upper respiratory tract of birds, and thus high and long lasting local immunisation is essential. This can only be achieved with specific live vaccines.

"swollen head syndrome" - синдром опухшей головы, если я не ошибаюсь...

Я бы перевел "выделение вируса". Но это имхо.

Здесь скорее всего речь идет об отделение лечения TRT вируса от лечения синдрома

Однозначно - isolation - надо переводить как Выделение вируса , а синдром опухшей головы можно написать таким образом: синдром “опухшей головы”.
