Subject: Deputy vs. Vice

Vice?

deputy chariman vs vice-chairman? perevodilka, u raise a very valid question, and well, in russian-to-english translations deputy is more prevalent, u r right. in french-to-english ones, vice- rules. i guess it all boils down to preferences in language patternization among different linguistic groups. that is a rather meandering way of saying, both r fundamentally right.
