Subject: grammar People,could you please remind me the rule (if it does exist) concerning such cases: 1. I don't think she will pass the exam. As far as I remember, the 1st case is preferable, but i can't find the rule anywhere. Any links available? |
it is a matter of personal preferences in this case. pick whichever u like, just make sure to stick with it, for clarity's sake. the first option sounds more organic, u r right there. |
The first one is preferrable because it is more "tentative" - that is, it doesn't sound very categorical :-) |
