push the buttons

Хочу узнать для себя. Во многих песнях сейчас слышу фразу " you push my buttons". Это понятно слэнг, и как я понимаю означает "манипулировать". Но в словарях найти не могу,чтобы убедиться. Помогите,очень интересно!

Имхо, скорее это означает "заводить", т.е. "ты меня заводишь"
