Контекст: Albemarle has developed new hydrotreating catalysts that take advantage of its STARS platform, such as KF 767 and KF 905, which European refiners are using to meet the new 10-ppm standards. STARS, which stands for Super Type II Active Reaction Sites, brings togrther the best of both worlds in a catalyst: sites with intrinsically high level of activity and large numbers of sites.
