Subject: Doubts about users' additions
It is a great dictionary, remarkably different from others by the number of current words, phrases and abbreviations. I am, however, puzzled by the function when anyone can add their own translations for everyone to use - how can you be sure that if I enter a new word/translation it will be correct? Someone can wilfully mislead everyone for a joke, and how can people rely on your dictionary for professional work? What measures do you take for this not to happen? Also it is not clear whether this question should go into "Forum" or "Onzyvy" section - I will put it in both. Sorry I cannot write in Russian, as I do not know how to do this in Mac.

Evidently no one can guarantee the user will submit a correct translation. At least with the current version of this site. However, user translations are displayed together with user names so you can always tell whether it's the basic meaning or added by someone from the Web. We are working to further increase reliability and security.
