Did he have any kind of illness at all before ~two days ago?" " Like I said, just sort of some cold symptoms for a day or ~two, but not much more than some cold symptoms." " ~Johnny, I'm going to look in your ears. And they look okay. And your nose has a little bit of clear stuff coming out of it. I want to look in your mouth, say aah÷." Aah. " So that looks good. Now I'm going to feel your neck for some lumps and bumps. And I don't feel anything particular that feels bad there. So can I have you lay down. Let me feel your belly. Nothing seems to be hurting him when I'm pressing down on his belly. It seems to be nice and warm and has good pulses.|See, he looks okay to me today. I think probably what I want to do is I probably want to get what we call pulse ox on him, to see how much oxygen is in his blood. And his lungs today do sound like I hear maybe a little bit of a wheeze, but it sounds like mostly like there's some noises that I'm hearing coming from his nose and possibly even his throat. This could be something like a croup because it's only been going on for a couple of days and he seems pretty good but has episodes of coughing. I wouldn't mind, after we get those couple of tests, maybe try to do a treatment for him, something that we would give to someone with asthma. And sometimes people with asthma will respond to it.|And then after we do that we'll see how he does and then make a decision about what to do.
