ты и вы в английском

Люди, меня тут только что озадачили вопросом, каким образом можно перевести такую фразу
не перескакивай с «ты» на «вы», это безкультурно.
И каким образом можно это передать на английском.
Буду благодарен за любые идеи.

А у меня тогда возник вопрос а как это передать тогда в косвенной речи. ну, например, кто-то там переходил с ты на вы и ... что-то там еще.

We dont have the concept of ti and vy, but it is evident from the way someone speaks with you (more formally or more informally) whether or not he is begining to "get fresh" with you.
In such situations we might say:
"I wasn't aware we were on such friendly terms."
Or a million other variants of this idea depending on the person, situation and their tone.

and for the record:

don't you 'you' me - is perfectly acceptable given a situation when someone i getting fresh and saying things like, "hey, you..." (this could be on the street, in a store, etc... and said by a stranger or store clerk, etc.... and your reply would most likely be "don't you 'you' me" if you have any sense of dignity at all.)

i can just see John Clese saying it in some situation with a monkey...... (:))
